Assembly

Height Range

It uses Constant Force technology and a counterbalancing mechanism which facilitates quick and smooth height adjustments. So, there’s no need for cranking or locking mechanisms. In relation to footprint…
The WorkFit-TLE sit-stand desktop workstation remains within the original footprint and both standing and sitting positions. This is due to the vertical range of motion.
The amount of footprint you consume is primarily based on the height that you place the desk converter in. Footprint consumption is predominantly in a vertical plane, so it’s important that you have adequate clearance above the desk so that monitors don’t impact on anything, such as shelves or decorations.
It does appear to look extremely compact when there are no components on the unit, and it is completely lowered. This makes it easier in terms of storage.
The keyboard tray is the only component that extends horizontally beyond the front of the desk. Provided the base of the unit is flush with the front of the desk, you can expect the keyboard to extend up to 9.5 inches / 24 cm outwards.
Integrated Device Station
The feature I think I love most about this desk converter is the tilted device station that is attached to the front of the work surface. In this large slot, you can store a multitude of gadgets, including your tablet, mobile phone or even possibly position your documents on it too.
It features a removable tray cover too; furthermore, it’s positioned at a perfect angle so that you can easily view your tablet or phone without having to reach inwards to see them.
Monitors
This desk converter offers you the ability to hold up to 2 monitors. The unit can hold a monitor up to 30 inches in size. Depending on the size and weight of your monitor and laptop, you might even be able to fit both on the work surface.
The stability of the monitors is rated as excellent. However, bear in mind that it is attributable to the stability of the desk that the desk converter is positioned on. If there is any shake on the table, it will transfer to the desk converter.

The keyboard tray is suspended 3.5 inches / 8.9 cm below the desktop surface; this is an excellent ergonomic feature as it promotes optimal ergonomic distance between the screen height and keyboard while the user is sitting down. This makes it particularly suitable for people who are petite or regular height. It may not be best suited to taller people since the keyboard tray is lower when standing.

There are no surrounding surfaces that you need to worry about hitting off while typing. The large drop-down keyboard surface offers you a spacious 35 x 7.4 – 8 inches / 88.9 x 18.75 – 20.32 cm of area, which is ample space, even if you own a full-sized keyboard, or an over-sized one for that matter too!
Or for us caffeine addicts, it could comfortably hold a cup of our favourite beverage.
The keyboard moves in tandem with the work surface, meaning that when you are adjusting between sitting and standing heights, there is no need to have to adjust the monitors and then fidget with the keyboard height till you find the sweet spot. It’s all executed in one single, simultaneous movement.
There is no option to adjust the height of the monitor independently of the keyboard tray unless you purchase one of the monitor kits. Since there is no separate mouse tray, users need not worry about whether the mouse tray suits left-handed people.
Tip: Compare the dimensions of the keyboard suspended at your desk with the optimal height of the keyboard tray for you when you are normally typing (arms should be at a 90 degree angle when seated and eyes should be in line with the top of the monitor). This will help determine if the monitor unit is suited to your height.
Cable Management
Cables can be neatly routed underneath the work surface by means of loops and cable ties provided. This ensures a neater work area with less risk of cables becoming caught in pinch points when shifting between standing and sitting locations.

The rear cable tray is an added luxury that you won’t find in any of the other standing desk converters. There’s nothing quite as frustrating as having cables obstructing your work area, tripping over extension leads, and having to fight with them every time you make a move.
The rear cable tray does away with all of this; it neatly stores your cable clutter and extension leads at the back of the desk. Also, it’s worth noting that the cable tray is detachable by simply removing 2 thumb screws.

For such a robust unit, it’s not surprising that it ticks all the boxes that smaller units might struggle with. It’s a top-end product with massive work space and durability that is unrivalled amongst competitors. The WorkFit-TLE sit-stand desktop workstation will look great in any location
and it offers sufficient adjustability complemented by a sturdy construction and positive ergonomic traits.
Many of you will adore the plug and play type approach to using this, meaning that installation couldn’t be easier. The sizeable height range of this monitor makes it an ideal product for the majority of heights.
The cable management feature is also valuable, especially if you hate cable clutter. Extra brownie points are awarded for the rear cable tray for neat storage of cables and parts.
